Experience

British School of Osteopathy awarded by the Open University. Before then I received a  BSc Hons Microbiology 2.1, awarded by Leeds University.

Since April 2014 I have been on the Research Ethics Committee for my college, following on from my involvement in Final Year Student assessment for the past 20 years. Since moving to Hove I have enjoyed studying with the National Council for Osteopathic Research. Our 90 hours requirement of learning over 3 years for Continuing Personal Development I have been doing with Case Studies and presenting the latest research papers to my peers locally in Haywards Heath.

I have pursued my interest in cranial osteopathy for children by studying with the Sutherland Cranial College. I volunteered  at undergraduate and postgraduate level to use cranial techniques on kids and babies. My involvement for 5 and half years with the Children's Osteopathic Clinic in London developed my manual skills and a depth of knowledge into what is known as cranial osteopathy. My studies led me achieve a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy from the University of Bedfordshire. I continued to work at the OCC and was invited to teach on the Masters course. Studying and working alongside a wealth of experienced experts included a trip to Sri Lanka to see a kids community clinic.
